AI Email Generation
ThanksImHired uses Claude AI to write personalized cold emails for each business it finds — here's how the process works.
Once you've created a campaign, ThanksImHired finds local businesses and generates a unique, personalized email for each one. This isn't a template — each email is written fresh based on the specific business and your resume.
How the AI Generates Emails
For each business found, the AI:
- Reads your resume — to understand your experience and skills
- Looks at the business — name, type, location, what they do
- Writes a personalized email — referencing your relevant experience in context of what the business does
- Keeps it concise — cold emails work best when short and human
The goal is an email that feels like you wrote it specifically for that company — because in a sense, you did.
The Review Screen
After generation, you're taken to the Campaign Review screen where you can:
- Read each generated email — click any email to preview the full text
- See a confidence score — how well the AI thinks it matched your experience to the business
- Edit any email — click to open and modify before it sends
- Regenerate — if you're not happy with an email, regenerate it
Take a few minutes to review emails before launching. A quick scan lets you catch anything that doesn't sound like you.
Understanding the Confidence Score
Each email gets a confidence score based on how well your resume matched the business. A higher score means the AI found strong connections between your experience and the business type.
- High confidence — clear match between your skills and what the business needs
- Medium confidence — some relevant experience, but not a perfect fit
- Low confidence — the AI struggled to find strong connections; consider editing the email or skipping this business
Editing Emails
Click any email in the list to open it in the editor. You can:
- Change the subject line
- Rewrite any part of the body
- Add or remove details
- Adjust the tone
Edited emails are saved automatically. Your changes won't be overwritten if you regenerate other emails.
Token Budget
Each AI generation uses tokens (the AI's unit of work). Your plan includes a monthly token budget. You can see how much of your budget remains in the campaign composer.
If you run out of tokens mid-generation, ThanksImHired will complete the current batch and stop. Tokens reset at the start of each billing cycle.
